Garage Sale Academy logo The Garage Sale Prices List provided by the Garage Sale Academy is a yard sale pricing guide of many commonly sold garage sales items.  The prices shown are average prices from around the country, that are in average used condition. If you live in an upscale neighborhood, you may wish to raise prices 20% from these values.

A general rule of thumb is to reduce your price by 20-30% from the buy price listed on the garage sale price list for each year that you own consumer electronics like TVs, computers, video game systems, etc.

You should also take at least 50% off of the the listed price for items that have major flaws like missing pieces, chipped glass, cracked plastic, missing power cords, missing CD and video game cases, etc.

These prices listed in the garage sale prices list are determined by going to thousands of garage sales, and buying these used items for reselling on eBay or for personal use.

This is a sampling of items, to give you an idea of where to start for your garage sale pricing or yard sale pricing.

It is also common practice to cut your prices in half for the last afternoon of your sale.
